After Assassination on the Orient Express , Kenneth Branagh returns as Hercule Poirot, the Belgian investigator created from the pen of Agata Christie. Inspired by “Poirot on the Nile”, one of the most famous works of the queen of thrillers, the film counts on a high-sounding cast directed by Branagh himself.
The man who sold his skin
Sam Ali is a young Syrian fleeing the war, but without documents that allow him to enter Europe and join Abeer, his beloved. The boy’s journey stops in Lebanon, where he lives by serving drinks to wealthy visitors to Beirut’s art galleries. Here he meets Jeffrey Godefroi, an artist who will allow him to become a European citizen through a singular agreement: by tattooing a Schengen visa on his back and transforming Sam Ali into a living work of art that he can “exhibit” at will. .
